Is one of the Messner Mountain Museums and his summer residence.
Guests enter through the inner courtyard with its Himalayan cedars and can see a dozen of the castles´s rooms. The chapel houses various relics from over the centuries and a one tower contains historic paintings, an oil painting by Luis Trencker. There are also some frescoes of Emperor Maximilian, the world richest collection of Tibetan exhibits, an extensice gallery of pictures and paintings of mountain scenes and Messner´s own collection of masks from five continents. |
